I don’t know why people get so upset over Big Brother time.  The very people who get the most upset, are the many people who are actually providing us all with a laugh!

Upset because one of the girls who is Indian was referred to as living in a hut, and having her accent mimiced.

During my daily talks with my many clients & associates all round the world, I am often referred to as “convict”, “royal subject”, and even referred to as slow because we live “downunder”.  I get teased about still using tin cans & strings for communication, having kangaroos jumping down our streets, and generally just being backward.  My aussie twang & slang constantly get mimiced, and many a time I get asked to say “G’day mate”.  Even while travelling around, I will get pat on the head like the “cute aussie”.

The Brits hear the same kind of jibes, as do the Americans, and many other countries.

So why is ther such a public outcry because it happened to one of the countries we have to be “politically correct” & who asses we have to kiss??

It’s not bullying, and it’s not school yard teasing, and it’s not racial!

The trouble is that too many people are taking things way to personally!  Get a bit of a thick skin.

If Aussies cried everytime someone pointed the bone at us, we would never have developed as fast as we have to become the nation we have.

So my advice…..  Build a bridge & get over it!
