Chris Benoit’s Legacy

I’m not going to cast judgement, because I am sure that whatever I think, there are going to be those that differ in opinion, and I just think there has been enough of that already. There are children left behind that will no doubt read all that everyone has written on the net.

I’ve watched Chris Benoit for many many years. He devoted himself to entertaining people such as myself. There are a select few of the WWE who I have followed over this time. My father was a wrestling fan also & I used to watch with him. There have been some mighty athletes come through, but unfortunately the mightier they are, the harder they fell. The more we expect out of them, they more they expect out of themselves. And when their body starts to show signs its time to slow down, we still want to watch them, and they in turn push themselves to extremes to grant our wish.

Chris Benoit WAS a professional wrestler, and he did put his body on the line for our entertainment. He also DID wrestle under the WWE, so NO amount of eliminating him from their website is going to erase that fact.

The sadness that was the end result of that is something that those left behind are left to struggle to deal with.

Out of all the crap, suspicion & inuendo written on Chris, Nancy & Daniel… this has to be the better written of all of them.

This one brings up valid questions that I have questioned myself.
